Fifth Grade Summer Reading
Fifth grade students should read or listen to the required book (Wishtree by Katherine Applegate), along with two free-choice books for a total of three books.
The following list of books is to be used for suggestions in choosing your free-choice book - it is also great for choosing additional pleasure reading for the summer. Use the "Five Finger Rule" to help you find books that are the best fit for you. Complete the online submission form for each book that you read. If both responses are received by the first week of school, you will receive a homework pass!
