BAMFest is our day of celebrating books, art and music at The Schenck School! This school year, it will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013. Parents are invited to come on campus and enjoy the festivities with their student (see schedule below).
-
While on campus, guests will attend a special art or music class and visit our art gallery. Original works of art by each student will be on display in BAMFest Gallery (a.k.a. The Fuqua Family Dining Hall). You are welcome to take the student art home with you that day. As a fundraiser for the Parent Association, you can have the art framed on site for $30.00.
Each student (except Kindergarteners) will also have a clay piece on display of pocket monsters in their habitat! The kindergartners have created wonderful butterflies.
In honor of BAMFest, The Schenck School publishes the annual D.R.E.A.M.S. book (Dyslexics Reaching Extraordinary Achievements Motivated by The Schenck School) filled with student writings and selected art from each grade. Each student will receive a copy at the student assemb

ly during BAMFest.
We hope you can join us on this fun filled day! Parents are asked to park Chastain Park
YELLOW lot and take the shuttle to The School.
Even though the shuttles will run continuously during BAMFest, you will want to allow for extra time to ensure you are on campus on time for your scheduled program!
Please contact Vicki Ahnrud (vahnrud@schenck.org) in the Development Office if you have any questions.
