Welcome to The Schenck School

Parents Association Page!

I have the honor and privilege of serving as your Parents Association President for 2013 - 2014 school year. The Schenck School has an amazing family atmosphere.  From the warm greetings Sarah Green will give you as you enter the front door to the overwhelming joy you will feel when you have lunch with your child, their classmates, and their teachers.  The teachers, staff, and administration go beyond the call of duty to make you feel welcome and to make sure your child is learning in a safe and nurturing environment.

You have many opportunities to become involved and become a part of this unique environment.  Many returning parents have already done this!  As a returning parent or a new parent, the volunteer opportunities are numerous and are a unique way to experience this intimate family environment.

Not only are the volunteer opportunities tremendous but attending the Parents Association meetings and Parent Education programs are a wonderful way for parents to learn what is going on in school.  Further, they provide us with the necessary information as to how else we can assist our wonderful and unique dyslexic children.

My husband and I are blessed with two dyslexic children! My daughter attended fourth grade here last year, and my son attended pre-first at Pace Academy.  Madison had an amazing academic and healing year!  So, I speak from experience as a dyslexic mom and a current parent.

I look forward to serving as your Parents Association President.  If I can assist in the learning curve in anyway, please let me know.  I hope you have a wonderful summer and a fantastic 2013/2014 school year!

Best wishes,
