Principles of the O-G Approach

Phonology and the importance of phonemic awareness

Basic rules concerning the structure of English that influence reading and spelling

Brief history of English and its influence on our sound system
Those who attend all 10 hours of the class will receive a Certificate of Completion. This enables you to become a member of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Pratitioners and Educators (AOGPE) at the Subscriber Level for an additional $50 paid to the Academy.
This class is taught by Ellen Hill, M.Ed., Cheryl Mullins, M.Ed., and Foster Soules, M.Ed., each a Fellow with the Orton-Gillingham Academy with a combined 55 years of experience teaching the O-G Approach.
