Physical Education
The goal of physical education at The Schenck School is to introduce several sports on an elementary level.
The students attend physical education once a week and are instructed in a variety of sports such as volleyball, rock climbing, baseball, football, soccer, floor hockey, track and field, basketball and gymnastics.
The students may learn at different rates; therefore, instruction is tailored to their needs. Some students excel in this area while others may need more one-on-one time with the teacher. The goal is to introduce the basic playing rules, skills and have students experience group and individual athletics.
