Tutoring

Tutoring is provided on an individual basis for students needing assistance

All tutors have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach. Sessions are usually one hour in length, with a minimum of two sessions per week. Tutoring sessions are generally conducted at The Schenck School between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

A $25.00 application fee must be sent along with your child's application (you may view and print a copy of this form by clicking on the link below).

The charge per one hour session is $80. Fees are paid in advance at the beginning of each month. Checks are made out to The Schenck School. Families are charged for cancelled sessions unless the teacher is notified by 12:30 p.m. on the day of the session.
