Ways to Give

Cash Gifts

A majority of the gifts received are cash gifts. Checks should be made payable to The Schenck School and mailed to the attention of the Development Office at 282 Mt. Paran Road, Atlanta, GA 30327.

Gifts of Stock

Donors are discovering the ease and added benefits of giving gifts of appreciated securities. Often giving a gift of stock will create a significant tax savings for the donor. A wire transfer is the most efficient way to make a gift of stock.

Pledge Payments

Another way to give is to promise to give a gift to be paid at a later date. Pledges can be paid in incremental payments or at a designated time. Pledges provide the donor the flexibility to give at a convenient time while allowing the School to count their gift toward participation and total dollars raised.

Matching Gifts

Many companies offer programs which match the contributions to non-profit organizations made by employees. Please contact your Human Resources Department to learn more about your company's matching gift policy and to determine if you are eligible for a matching gift.

Unrestricted and Restricted Gifts

Unrestricted gifts are not designated to a specific program or department. Unrestricted gifts are are an excellent to allow a school the freedom to use the gifts in the area where they would be needed most. Annual Fund gifts are traditionally unrestricted. Restricted gifts are those that are designated to a specific program project.
