Honoring Our Beginning

In 1959, David Schenck founded The Schenck School with a bold vision: to change the lives of students with dyslexia through individualized, evidence-based instruction.

What began as a small, passionate effort has grown into a nationally recognized model of literacy remediation. Guided by purpose and driven by heart, The Schenck School has remained true to its mission for more than six decades.
