The flu season is well underway and continues to affect our students, faculty, and staff. If your child contracts the flu, they can spread this virus to others at school, at home, and in the community. As we have had several cases of flu diagnosed this week, we are asking parents to help us prevent infecting others by abiding by the wellness policy in our Student/Parent Handbook.
As a reminder, if your child is sick, please keep him or her home until they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours. This should be determined without the use of fever-reducing medicines (any medicine that contains ibuprofen or acetaminophen).
If you have any questions or if your child has been diagnosed with the flu, please contact School Nurse Elise Fredrickson. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping everyone as healthy as possible!
