Soaring On Ceremony

As we wrapped up another incredible year at The Schenck School, our community gathered for one of the most meaningful traditions—Soaring On. This special event, held at the end of each school year, brings together our entire student body, faculty, and alumni to celebrate the achievements of our students who are ready to transition to new schools.

 

The day was filled with emotions as our community came together to honor the hard work, growth, and perseverance of those who are "soaring on" to the next chapter in their educational journeys. The energy in the room was electric, with a palpable sense of pride and accomplishment.

One of the highlights of the event was hearing from current parent and alum (NAME) who returned to share their experiences and insights with students. His stories of success and the ways in which his time at The Schenck School prepared him for new challenges were both inspiring and reassuring. It was a reminder to all of us that the skills and confidence our students develop here continue to serve them well beyond their time with us.

The celebration was not just about saying goodbye but also about recognizing the incredible community that surrounds each student. The entire student body came together to show their support for their peers with cheers, high-fives, and heartfelt messages. It was a beautiful display of the strong bonds that are formed within our school and a testament to the caring, supportive environment that defines The Schenck School.

As we bid farewell to our students who are moving on, we do so with full hearts, knowing they are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Soaring On is always a bittersweet moment, but it’s also a celebration of all that has been accomplished and all that is yet to come. We are incredibly proud of each and every student and look forward to seeing the amazing things they will achieve in the future.
