Tutoring

Tutoring is available on an individual basis for students needing assistance in sharpening their reading and writing skills.

All tutors are trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach. Sessions usually are one hour in length, with a minimum of two sessions per week. Tutoring sessions are generally conducted at The Schenck School between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

The charge per one hour session is $85, paid by check to The Schenck School and a $25 application fee. Fees are paid in advance at the beginning of each month. You will be charged for missed sessions unless the teacher is notified by 12:30 p.m. on the day of the session.
